ANTROPOLOGI INDONESIA is published to develop and enrich scholarly discussion for researchers focusing on socio-cultural issues in Indonesia. This journal employs a peer-review process to select high-quality articles. The editorial board welcomes manuscripts based on original research findings and/or new theoretical positions within contemporary debates related to anthropology, Indonesian studies, and other relevant fields. Authors bear full responsibility for the content of submitted manuscripts, and published articles do not necessarily reflect the positions or views of the editors.
Expected manuscript criteria include: ethnographic/qualitative research findings related to socio-cultural issues in Indonesia or those that are comparatively relevant; discussions on applied and collaborative research related to development or policy highlighting social, political, and cultural issues in Indonesia or abroad; in-depth discussions on theoretical, methodological, or ethical issues faced by anthropologists in Indonesia and other regions; and critical reviews of anthropology-related literature and ethnographic monographs published within the last 3 years.
