Ignatia Dyahapsari, better known as Riri, is a social anthropologist who earned her Master’s degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London in 2013, and her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Universitas Indonesia in 2011. With extensive experience as an independent qualitative researcher, Riri possesses expertise in environmental and educational issues, such as marine conservation, local wisdom, and climate change mitigation. She has been involved in various collaborations with organizations such as WWF Indonesia and Save the Children. In addition, Riri is active in the field of visual storytelling, producing illustrations, animations, and exhibitions to document social, cultural, and environmental issues. She has worked on various projects involving cultural preservation, program learning evaluations, and program development for youth. Riri’s interest in museums and material culture, as well as marine conservation, is further enriched by her ability to combine anthropological research with visual communication. She is currently a lecturer for the courses Museum and Material Culture, Design Anthropology, and Marketing Ethnography. Moving forward, Riri focuses on environmental, marine, and development issues.
