Vaisnava Vidia Mahatma, S.Sos.

Vaisnava Vidia Mahatma is a young researcher and program manager at the Center for Anthropological Studies, University of Indonesia. His work focuses on applied and public anthropology, specifically on how development policies and resource governance shape the lives of agrarian communities. Through an ethnographic approach, he examines farmers’ adaptation strategies in facing state intervention and market dynamics, with attention to collaborative and socially impactful knowledge production. He is interested in how anthropology not only analyzes structural inequalities but also contributes to professional practice, policy, and more inclusive dialogue spaces.
